Within the scope of the objectives of the Laboratory of Sociology of Youth, Leisure, and Sports of the Department of Sociology of the University of the Aegean, as defined in the specific Government Gazette, and more specifically, in accordance with Article 2, paragraph 6, "provision of contemporary sociological, cultural, and educational material in the broad sense," the Laboratory created the theater group "Fandiko" in early 2007, presenting three plays:
- 2007: "The Castle of Oria" by G. Theotokas
- 2008: "If I Were a Woman" by Aziz Nesin
- 2009: "Hamlet II" by Sam Bobrick
